Meet Scarlett
Dr. Scarlett Ellender is a Louisiana native who recently earned her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Collaborative Piano from Louisiana State University.
Scarlett has over five years of teaching experience working with students of all ages and levels that have performed in Baton Rouge festivals and studio recitals.
In addition to teaching, Scarlett maintains an active career as a collaborative pianist and church musician.
Lessons
Scarlett personalizes her lessons to support each student’s unique musical journey and personal goals. She strives to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable progressing at their own pace while building confidence through steady growth and the celebration of both small and large successes.
Lessons emphasize goal-oriented practice strategies that encourage independence, along with healthy technique and practice habits that help prevent tension and injury.
Scarlett believes that participation in performances, festivals, and competitions helps students develop confidence, artistry, and a well-rounded musical education.
